MANTICORA To Utilize Session Musicians On Upcoming Tour
January 24, 2005Danish power metallers MANTICORA have announced that due to complications with work and studies, keyboardist Finn Zierler and guitarist Martin Arendal will be unable to join the group on their upcoming European tour with ANGRA and EDENBRIDGE. "We have instead asked some good friends to join the 'Manti-Core'," the band write on their web site.
Joining Lars Larsen (vocals),Kristian Larsen (guitars),Kasper Gram (bass) and Mads Volf (drums) will be Stefan Johansson (guitars) and Andreas Lindahl (keyboards).
"Stefan is a great young Danish guitarist, and we're happy to welcome him aboard," the group write on their web site. "Andreas is a good friend of ours, as his own band — the Swedish PLATITUDE — toured with us last year throughout Europe. It's going to be cool having him out on the road with us again.
"We're really looking forward to going out and kicking some ass, and we can already now tell you there’ll be songs played from all our releases. We’ll of course bring plenty of merchandise for you to buy."

MANTICORA will be touring in support of their fourth CD, "8 Deadly Sins", available now on Massacre Records. The follow-up to 2002's "Hyperion" (Scarlet Records) was recorded at Jailhouse studios in Horsens, Denmark and features artwork by Mattias Norén.
